Bronze, 61cms h. unique cast: Sculpture based on Thomas Thornycroft's great statue of Boudicea and her two daughters erected in 1902 at the Houses of Parliament end of Westminster Bridge, London. Below: The sculptor was granted permission to climb the plinth to examine the details of the statue in order to make this sculpture, which was commisioned to go on board the MV Boudicea. Thomas Thornycroft's original maquette for the work is not extant.
